Laser sailing Small
group intensive practice for experienced racers who want to learn to race and/or polish skills in the Laser and/or
420 fleet. Days tba. Optional coaching at regattas for those who can transport their own boats.
We are currently generating an interest list for February-April sailing.
Beginning
Sailing Adults Only This
course is for adult students with little or no sailing skills who want to experience the exhilaration of harnessing the forces
of nature to power a sailing vessel. Sailors will be paired 1-2 to a boat. Small dinghy type sailboats will
be used, so come prepared to get wet. Sailors learn to confidently
captain their own vessel by learning rigging, points of sail, body position, stopping, starting, and sheeting and steering.
All courses are taught by US Sailing Certified instructors. Please bring a US Coast Guard approved
life vest, towel, water bottle, and change of clothes on each day of class. Dates and times: Fridays-Dates

Foggies Wet Feet Sailing Program for Ages 5-7 This newly redesigned course is structured
to introduce young sailors to the water and help our returning small salts maintain their skills and interest in sailing.
Children learn to sail an optimist pram and have fun together on a larger 20 ft. Cape Dory keelboat. The
environment is very controlled and the goal is to have fun through sailing. The class is designed to work with the children
at the level that they are comfortable with. Sailors will only be required to take part in a specific
activity when they are ready. All courses are taught by US Sailing Certified
instructors. Students must pass a swim test on the first day of class in order to participate. Class
are on-going and sailors often sign up for multiple sessions.

London Foggies Sunday Fun Fleet NEW! For experienced London Foggies who are ready to sail their own boat and compete in simple races and fun
age-appropriate on shore activities. The emphasis for this class is on having on fun and gaining a greater
confidence in the Optimist Pram. Sailors may also sail in the Laser with the instructor. All classes are
taught by US Sailing Certified instructors. Please bring a lifejacket, towel, water bottle, change of clothes and dress
your child for swimming each day. Sundays 10am-4pm January-April...there are no classes during
Easter weekend + President's Day Weekend or when our team is present at an away regatta (see team racing schedule or
dates below). Ages 5-7 Dates:
Sunday January 10, 17, and 24, February 7, 21 (team retreat), 28, March 7 and 21, and April 11 + 18. 10-4:00 pm. Fee: Members: $365/$395 Non-members
